A mixture of white and black copal - resin from trees - real (because there are many synthetics on the market), the best quality that I managed to find with my nose in Mexico City. Copal itself comes from the state of Oaxaca. It is an incense, it is put on embers (usually on shisha coals) and melting turns into smoke that cleanses, calms, envelops.. I love copal, its smell, its power. In Mexico it is the basis for energy cleansing - people, space, places, home, it is present in practically every ceremony. White copal is more intense, more pronounced in smell, black copal is more subtle. White serves me better outside, black inside the room. White is soft, you can crumble it into smaller pieces with your teeth, black is better broken or smashed with something.
